ORIGINAL: nitrosportsandrunnerheres what you do:plug in the battery with the sidewinder esc switch OFF.turn on the radio and pull the trigger.while holding the throttle in that position, turn on the esc.the esc will beap 8 times total, then the light will turn red.now put the trigger in reverse, like you wanted to go backwards.hold till the esc beeps 4 times and the esc light turns yellow.once it turns yellow take your hand off the trigger. The esc will beep 4 more times.I tried that and after I turn on the ESC it just flashes red. I dont have to do it backwards since I programmed it backwards do I?kistner 05:52 PM.
I programmed an MM to the losi radio, it was a challenge for sure, try this, on top of the radio is the reversing switches, set the TH switch position toward the antenna. Set the throttle trim knob with the dot straight up.
Don't pull the throttle until you turn the radio on and it binds to the receiver (green light on receiver) then do the full forward throttle (esc light should be green) then reverse (red light) Turn the esc and radio off then the radio back on and esc, adjust the throttle trim knob if needed to get the yellow neutral light. Forward throttle should light the green esc light and brakes/reverse should be red when applied. If the motor spins backwards switch any two motor wires, doesn't matter which two.clamber 10:09 PM.
